The foundation sources of funding since inception have been largely self-funding others sources of funding include but not limited to:

1. Willful donation by members
2. Support from board of trustees
3. Sales of farm produce
4. Voluntary contribution by supporters and well-wishers.

Additionally, the continuous expansion, high demand coupled with huge volumes of activities/programmes undertaken by the foundation with paucity of funds bedeviling its operations and the need to reach out to more and larger segment of the society necessitated the need for financial assistance and partnership which will enable us achieve the global goals of changings lives.

About Us

D Heart Foundation and Humanitarian is a nongovernmental Organization (NGO) domiciled in Abuja, Nasarawa and Benue State. The foundation is registered in Nigeria with certification from Corporate affairs commission, Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Benue State Government, Nasarawa State Government and has equally obtained SCUML with Economic and Financial Crime Commission of Nigeria.

The foundation has over the years demonstrated adequate compassion for the needy in the society by attending to their basic needs thereby giving them a sense of belonging, the unprecedented smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries is an indication that the foundation has really touch the life of the common man in Nigeria.

Facilitate urgent relief to save lives such as the provision of medical support, food, shelter, recovery assistance etc to affected person and communities.

Provides leadership and mentorship training.
Provides good learning facilities and quality education to children in rural communities and IDP camps.

Agriculture and Food Security

Provides training farmers on modern techniques on how to boost food production and increase agricultural yields.
Provides training on the use of farm inputs, tools and equipment such as Fertilizer spreader, Irrigation pumping, Backpack sprayer, GPS land area measurement, Watering can, etc for widows and indigent people.
Enhances the training and skill acquisition for farmers on the application or the use of farm subsistence equipment and small-scale machineries e.g. Water pumping machine, herbicides sprayer can and pesticides to boost food production and security.
Facilitate the distribution of farm inputs, tools and equipment e.g Fertilizers, Pesticides, Seedling, Fertilizer spreader, Irrigation pumping, Backpack sprayer, GPS land area measurement, Watering can, etc for widows and indigent persons.

Provide free clean water system and toilet facilities in indigent communities, Secondary Schools and in IDP camps.
Engaging in awareness and sensitization campaign on the need to keep a hygienic environment and against the intake of contaminated water in rural communities, Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps and school.
Advocate for the provision of sustainable water solution to rural communities.

Health & Social Welfare

Improve the health care of the vulnerable populations by giving them the tools to access healthcare, public health workers and empowering them to take control of their own health.
Educate the communities on disease/epidemics prevention knowledge which in turn boast global health safety through our awareness and sensitization program.
Promote global health, ensure safety, supporting communities and IDP camps through collaborative effort via health advocacy and sensitization.
Educate the communities on benefits of preventive care and healthy behaviors.
Intervein by addressing resource gaps such as establishing community health centres, mobile clinics and outreach programs.
Help to maximize the impact of public health response in cases like VVF, STI, Hepatitis, use of tobacco, alcohol consumption and epidemic with a view to achieving global universal health coverage.
Discourage early marriage among vulnerable populations and the downtrodden.
Intensify awareness on the use of sanitary pads and its free distribution in rural schools, IDP camps, indigent communities and teenagers/young school learners.

Awareness & sensitization campaign to eradicate illiteracy & all forms of harmful socio-cultural practices in our society in 20 Northern Communities of Nigeria.

Youth Awareness on Health & Hygiene

5 days awareness and sensitization campaign against STI, use of drugs, alcohol consumption, early marriage and the need to keep a hygienic environment among teenagers’ and youth.

Sanitary Pad Awareness & Distribution

Awareness and sensitization campaign to encourage the use of sanitary pads and free donation/distribution of 3,500 sanitary pads to teenager/young school leaners in 50 rural communities.
